Legume cu orez prajit / Vegetable fried rice




Ingrediente / Ingredients

  • 300 g orez basmati / 300 g basmati rice
  • 2 cepe de marime medie tocate / 2 medium chopped onions
  • 400 g ciuperci feliate / 400 g sliced mushrooms
  • 1 morcov ras / 1 grated carrot
  • 2 maini de mazare / 2 handfuls of peas
  • 2 ½  linguri sos de soia / 2 ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 ½ lingurita fulgi de chilli / 1 ½  tsp chilli flakes
  • 50 ml ulei / 50 ml oil
  • sare dupa gust / salt to taste

Mod de preparare / Method of preparation

1. Orezul se lasa la inmuiat timp de 20 de minute. Se scurge si se pune intr-o oala mare de apa clocotita cu sare, se readuce la fierbere si se fierbe timp de 10 minute.
Soak rice for 20 minutes. Drain the rice and place it in a large pan of boiling salted water, bring back to the boil and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Dupa 10 minute se strecoara si se pune deoparate sa se raceasca.
After 10 minutes drain and set aside to cool.
3. Intr-o tigaie se pune uleiul si se incalzeste. Se adauga ceapa si se prajeste la foc mediu pana este aurie.
In a pan, add oil and heat. Add the onions and fry on medium heat until golden brown.


4. Odata de ceapa este moale se adauga morcovii rasi, mazarea si se prajeste inca 5 minute. Dupa se adauga ciupercile feliate si se prajeste pana cand apa lasata de ciuperci se evapora.
Once the onions are tender, add grated carrots, peas and fry for another 5 minutes. After add sliced mushrooms and fry until all mushrooms water evaporates.



5. La sfarsit se adauga fulgii de chilli, orezul, sosul de soia si se amesteca bine.
Finally add chilli flakes, rice, soy sauce and mix well.
