Pentru
blat / For cake base
- 5 oua / 5 eggs
- 5 linguri de zahar / 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 linguri de faina / 3 tablespoons of flour
- 100 gr nuci macinate / 100 gr ground walnuts
- 1 lingura esenta vanilie / 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
Pentru
crema / For the cream
- 750 ml frisca lichida / 750 ml liquid whipping cream
- 2 pliculete intaritor de frisca / 2 cream hardeners
- 100 gr zahar pudra / 100 gr powdered sugar
- 150 gr zahar / 150 gr sugar
- 1 lingura esenta de vanilie / 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
Mod de preparare / Method of preparation
Blatul /
Cake base
- Se bat albusurile spuma tare cu zaharul. / Beat the egg whites with the sugar till they form peaks.
- Se adauga galbenusurile unul cate unul, esenta de vanilie si nuca macinata./ Add the yolks one by one, vanilla essence and the ground walnuts.
- Se pune faina cernuta si se amesteca usor, de jos in sus. / Add the sifted flour and mix it (using the cut and fold technique so as not to lose all the air from the whisked egg whites).
- Se toarna compozitia intr-o tava de tort unsa si tapetata si se coace 30 – 40 de minute. / Prepare a cake tray by oiling it and dusting it with flour and pour in the mixsture and bake for 30-40 minutes.
- Se lasa sa se raceasca si se taie in doua./ Let it cool and cut it into two.
Crema
- Zaharul se caramelizeaza si se intinde pe un fund de lemn uns cu apa. / Caramelize the sugar and spread it over a wooden board lubricated with water.
- Se lasa sa se intareasca dupa care se sfarama cu un ciocan./ Let it harden and break it with a hammer.
- Se bate frisca bine cu zaharul pudra si se amesteca cu caramelul zdrobit, esenta de vanilie si intaritorul de frisca. / Beat the whipping cream with the powdered sugar and mix it with the crushed caramel, vanilla essence and the cream hardener.
Ansamblare/Assembling
- Pe un platou se aseaza o parte de blat si se pune jumatate din crema./ Place a part of the cake base and spread half of the cream.
- Deasupra aseaza a doua parte de blat si restul de crema imbracandu-l si pe margini./ Place the second part on top and the rest of the cream, dressing it over the edges.
- Se decoreaza dupa propria dorinta./ And decorate .
