Oua coapte in rosii / Baked eggs in tomatoes



Ingrediente (1 portie) / Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 2 rosii de marime medie / 2 medium size tomatoes
  • 2 oua / 2 eggs
  • cateva frunze proaspete de busuioc tocate / few fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • sare dupa gust / salt, to taste
  • piper negru dupa gust / black pepper, to taste

Mod de preparare / Method of preparation

1. Taiati partea de sus a fiecarei rosii si usor scoateti afara pulpa si semintele / Slice off the tops of each tomato and gently scoop out the pulp and seeds. 


2. Se sparge cate un ou in fiecare rosie / Break one egg into each tomato.
3. Se presara cu sare, piper, busuioc proaspat si se aseaza intr-un vas de copt / Sprinkle with salt, pepper, fresh basil and place on a baking dish.


4. Se coace pana se coaguleaza ouale / Bake until the eggs are set.
